We currently operate in the European Union, the United States, Brazil, Mexico and also in Venezuela.
DOWNLOAD THE APP
You can install Shasta for free from the Play Store for Android or from the Apple Store for iPhone.
REGISTER YOUR DATA
Once you have downloaded the App, you must enter your phone number and then fill a small form.
VERIFY THE ACCOUNT
You must send your unexpired documents through the App and upload a selfie to verify your account.
With the different options that we offer you can send and receive euros, dollars and bolivars around the world.
Your finances in a single app
If you have valid documents from the territories in wich we operatem you’ll be able to verify your Shasta account and make use of the different functionalities of the App everywhere.
– Unexpired passport from the United States, Brazil or Mexico.
– Unexpired passport or DNI from the European Union, in addition to the NIE with the document of the TIE or Residence Permit in the case of Spain.
– Unexpired passport or passport extension from Venezuela (International Ecosystem) or unexpired Venezuelan ID (National Ecosystem).

Operations in Venezuela
We are 100% operational in this territory and have options adapted to the country, as well as the use of bolivars in addition to the euro and dollar.
– The International Ecosystem, verifying the Shasta account with the unexpired passport or extension, wich also adds trhe possibility of linking the currency accounts in euro and dollar from the Banco Nacional de Crédito (BNC).
– The National Ecosystem, verifying the Shasta account with the unexpired Venezuelan ID, in wich case it is a requirement to link the BNC currency accounts in euro and dollar to be able to use the App.

Other available features
These are common operations and options that depend on the documentation provided to verify the account.
Currency exchange between euro and dollar or vice versa
Regardless of the documentation with wich you validate the Shasta account, you can make exchanges between euros (EUR) and dollars (USD) or vice versa inside the App. To do so, you'll just have to follow this steps:
1. Select the icon on the main screen with this symbol:
2. Enter the amount you want to change and the currency with wich you want to make the change at the top.
3. At the bottom, you'll see the amount that you'll receive in the other currency you want to obtain, either EUR or USD.
If you enter the amount with the chosen currency at the top, the money conversion will be made to the currency and amount you have at the bottom. To accept the exchange, you must click on "Continue".

Also, to see the funds you have deposited in the App in any of these currencies that the App manages, you'll simply have to click on the option on the main screen and you'll see the funds you have in the selected currency.
Deposit or withdraw with the BNC if you are from Venezuela
If you validate your Shasta account with unexpired documents from Venezuela, you will also have the possibility to add the accounts in BNC currency.
The BNC currency account that you can use to link in the Shasta App are exclusively foreign currency accounts, such as the electronic account in dollar or euro to enter money from BNC to the App and the cash account in dollar or euro to withdraw money from the App to BNC and later be able to withdraw it from the bank. Although it is not necessary to have these accounts in both currencies, it is recommended to have all the accounts in foreign currency to use euros or dollars, since they are the currencies that the App handles. In addition, you can link your BNC bolivar account, such as a bolivar current account or savings account, to trade with bolivars.
- NATIONAL ECOSYSTEM
By registering only with the unexpired Venezuelan ID, you will be able to operate with the functionalities of the National Ecosystem, where it is a mandatory requirement to have the currency BNC accounts linked.
And if you don't have a BNC currency account, don't worry, you can start the opening process to be able to use it with Shasta, although this process does not happen immediately. Once you have your BNC currency account, you can link it in the App and operate with your respective ecosystem to send or receive money anywhere in the world.
This process will also open an account in bolivars that you can link in the App to manage funds in this currency.
- INTERNATIONAL ECOSYSTEM
If you register with an unexpired Venezuelan passport or extension, this requirement is optional but you can also link them if you already have them, since you will operate in the International Ecosystem.
In all cases, you must have your BNC accounts in foreign currency linked in the App in order to carry out these operations. Remember that with Shasta you cannot withdraw cash directly from the App, but you can add it to your BNC cash in euro or dollar account to withdraw it from the bank. And to add funds in the App, you must use your electronic account in either of the two currencies. And also in bolivars!
Make a deposit in the App with an added credit or debit card
If you verify the account with the unexpired documentation from the territories in which we operate or if you verify it with an unexpired Venezuelan passport or passport extension to operate in the International Ecosystem, you can add a credit or debit card to deposit the funds you want in Shasta.
- ADD THE CARD IN THE APP:
To add it in the application you must go to your profile and in the "Balance" section, click on the "Add money" option. You must select the "Add card" method to be able to enter your credit or debit card details and click on "Save card". Once you have your card correctly added, you must click on "Continue" and you will be able to make money deposits in Shasta with it.
- DEPOSIT MONEY WITH A CARD:
To deposit money in the application with your added credit or debit card, you can do so through the "Balance" section of your profile, clicking on EUR or USD depending on the currency you have. On the next screen, you must choose the way in which you want to carry out this operation by selecting "Add money" and indicating the amount and then clicking on "Confirm deposit".
You can also access the screen to make the deposit with a credit or debit card directly from the main screen of the application by clicking on "Funds". Also, if you wish, you can delete or replace it and change it for another one you have by clicking on your added card to select the option you want.
Remember that with your card added you can only deposit in the App in this way.
Buy in Forum supermarkets in Venezuela through QR code
Although you cannot make purchases directly with the App, you can currently make your payments in Forum supermarkets in Venezuela directly with Shasta and the funds in dollars that you have deposited in it.
To do this, you must have the application previously installed and at the time you go to pay, you simply have to scan the QR code that you will find next to the supermarket cash register.
If your funds are in euros and you need to change the euros to dollars, you can also change the currency between these currencies from the App, before making the payment in Forum with the QR code.
Get the Shasta Card if you are from the European Union
The Shasta Card is a physical card such as a prepaid VISA with which you can use the funds from the account in euros deposited in the App. With it, you can also buy in physical or online stores and do withdrawals at any ATMs from anywhere in the world.
Currently you can only request it if you verify the Shasta account with unexpired European Union documents and the shipping cost is free. If you have an unexpired European passport or DNI or NIE with the TIE document or Residence Permit in the case of Spain, you can verify the Shasta account with these valid documents and request it from your Profile through the App.
At the moment it can only be obtained with this indicated documentation, so if you only have other documents from the rest of the territories in which we operate, currently you will not be able to obtain it.
